Prep volleyball roundup: Siebers' big night gets Raiders by Panthers

CAMP POINT, Ill.

The Quincy Notre Dame volleyball team defeated Central in straight sets 25-11, 25-19.

Meredith Siebers led the Raiders with 13 kills and six digs in what coach Courtney Kvitle called, "a great night for her." Abbey Schreacke added four kills and Maddie Peters had 29 assists.

Kennady Marlow led Central with four blocks while Cydnee Houston added seven digs.

Indians sweep Hornets

The Payson Seymour volleyball team earned a 25-16, 25-14 win over Brown County on Monday.

Carly Wolf and Hadley Schmeideskamp each had six kills for Payson Seymour (8-9). Kaylee Burgess recorded 22 assists as well for the Indians.

Faith Boylen finished with four kills for the Hornets.

Mustangs sweep West Prairie

Krista Schrader recorded 11 kills to lead the Unity volleyball team to a 25-19, 25-22 win over West Prairie.

Maya Furhman added 20 assists for the Mustangs (11-2) and Jersey Hesse finished with seven kills.

LIBERTY, Ill.

Bliss leads Chargers to win

Ava Bliss recorded 10 kills in Illini West's 25-18, 25-23, 25-18 win over Liberty on Monday.

Megan Harrell added eight kills while Karli Artman recorded 22 assists for the Chargers (16-4).

Paige Knuffman finished with 10 kills and 19 digs for the Eagles and Kenzey Wagner finished with 20 digs.

Western falls in straight sets

The Western volleyball team came up short in a 25-19, 25-11 loss to Winchester West Central.

Sadie Abney led the Wildcats (6-13) with seven kills while Haley Flores added nine digs.

Wolves downed in straight sets

The Pleasant Hill volleyball team lost 25-16, 25-5 to Calhoun.

Jasmine Barnes led Pleasant Hill with four points, one ace, and one kill.

Tornadoes struggle on the road

The Griggsville-Perry volleyball team lost to Greenfield 25-8, 25-9.

Brianna Dobson recorded two kills and two digs for Griggsville-Perry.

RUSHVILLE, Ill.

Saukees lose in three sets

The Pittsfield volleyball team lost on the road to Rushville-Industry 26-28, 25-14, 25-8.

Katie Cox led Pittsfield with 11 kills while Chloe Walston added 15 digs.
