HANNIBAL, Mo. -- Officers with the Hannibal Police Department think they have broken up a motorcycle theft ring.

The department said that it served a search warrant Tuesday in the 900 block of Ernest, reportedly finding two sport motorcycles and a box trailer that had been reported stolen in different jurisdictions. Officers previously found two other motorcycles reported stolen at other Hannibal locations and believe they are connected.

Arrested were Corey Roach, 27, and Taylor Roach, 25, on a charge of receiving stolen property.

Corey Roach was placed on a 24-hour hold in the Marion County Jail, while Taylor Roach was released pending application of a warrant.

On Wednesday, Corey Roach was charged with two counts of stealing.

Corey Roach's bond was set at $25,000, cash or surety.

Assisting in the investigation were the St. Peter's Police Department; Canton Police Department; Keokuk, Iowa, Police Department and McDonough County, Ill., Sheriff's Department.
