CANTON, Mo. -- Trailing 57-53 to Peru State after the third quarter, the Culver-Stockton College women's basketball team needed a rally if it wanted to pick up its fifth straight victory.
The Wildcats did just that, outscoring the Bobcats 22-13 in the fourth quarter to pick up a 75-70 victory in Heart of America Athletic Conference play at Charles Field House.
With six minutes remaining, C-SC (13-7, 9-5 Heart) still trailed 64-57. Ryan Dooley splashed home a 3-pointer to make it a four-point game, then Courteney Sailor scored on three straight layups as the Wildcats took over the lead on a 9-0 run.
Dooley finished with a game-high 20 points, with 15 coming in the second half, while Payton Curley had 13 points and Sailor finished with 12. It was the first time this season the Wildcats came back to win after trailing at the end of the third quarter.
