CANTON, Mo. -- Ryan Dooley and Payton Curley combined for 53 points as the Culver-Stockton College women's basketball team earned a 103-82 win over Graceland University in a Heart of America Athletic Conference game at Charles Field House on Thursday.
The Wildcats (15-7, 11-5) trailed 22-13 at the end of the first quarter but rallied to tie the game at 38 by halftime behind Dooley's 15 points, 10 of which came in the second quarter.
Curley then exploded for 14 third quarter points, combined with Dooley's nine giving the Wildcats a 74-60 advantage at the end of the third quarter.
Dooley finished with a career-high and game-high 29 points while Curley tied her career high with 24 points to lead C-SC to its seventh straight victory.
Wildcat men fall at home
The Culver-Stockton College men's basketball team suffered a 77-66 loss to Graceland University in a Heart of America Athletic Conference game at Charles Field House on Thursday.
The Wildcats (4-16, 3-13) trailed much of the first half but only faced a six point deficit at halftime.
Culver-Stockton tied the game at 55 midway through the second half but could never capture the lead as Graceland (8-14, 5-11) held on.
Mason Vires led the Wildcats with 17 points.
