PONTOOSUC, Ill. -- The Pontoosuc man accused of killing his father Monday is expected to make his first court appearance Tuesday in Hancock County Circuit Court.

The Hancock County Sheriff's Department said charges are expected to be filed against Andrew De Haven, 36, in the death of Michael De Haven, 67.

The Sheriff's Department said that it was called about 8:30 a.m. Monday from a Pontoosuc resident who said that their neighbor, Andrew De Haven, asked him to call the sheriff because he had killed his father.
