Palmyra woman suffers minor injuries in crash

HANNIBAL, Mo. -- A Palmyra woman suffered minor injuries after a crash Saturday afternoon.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol said that a 2002 Saturn driven by Elizabeth D. Shannon, 31, was heading north at 5 p.m. at the intersection of Route W and County Road 432, 2 miles northwest of Hannibal, when it ran off the left side of the road and struck a ditch.

Shannon was taken by Marion County Ambulance to Hannibal Regional Hospital for treatment.

The Marion County Sheriff's Department assisted at the scene.
