QUINCY -- Two Quincy men and a woman face charges in connection with a Thursday night disturbance where three people were battered with metal poles and two were taken to the hospital.

The investigation continues into what the Quincy Police Department said was not a random act.

QPD said officers responded to the disturbance at 9:48 p.m. in the 800 block of North Sixth and found three people who had been battered. Two of the them, a 44-year-old woman and a 43-year-old man, were taken to Blessing Hospital with moderate non-life threatening injuries.

Officers located the suspect vehicle at 10:11 p.m. in the area of Ninth and Maine and arrested Dartangnon C. Tousson, 23, on charges of mob action and armed violence, and Chaka R. Carraway, 47, both of 1400 State, on charges of aggravated battery and mob action. Jason L. Carraway, 40, also of 1400 State, was later located during the investigation and taken into custody on charges of mob action and armed violence.

All three remain in the Adams County Jail.
