Florida man injured in crash north of Palmyra

PALMYRA, Mo. -- A Florida man was injured in a Wednesday night crash on U.S. 61 north of Palmyra.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol said that a 2018 Volvo tractor trailer driven by Larieux Resignac, 39, of Orlando, Fla., was traveling north at 7:01 p.m. when it traveled off the right side of the road, struck a rock barrier and jackknifed in the road.

Resignac, who was wearing a seat belt, was taken by Marion County Ambulance to Blessing Hospital in Quincy, Ill., with moderate injuries.

The patrol was assisted by the Marion County Sheriff's Department and the Marion County Fire Department.
