2 Pike County teens injured in crash

FRANKFORD, Mo. -- Two Pike County teens were injured Monday morning when their vehicle overturned.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol said that a 1982 Ford Bronco driven by a 16-year-old male from Frankford was heading west on Pike County Road 128, east of Pike County Road 129, at 10:40 a.m. The patrol said the vehicle slid on the gravel road, traveled off the right side and overturned.

A passenger, a 16-year-old male from Bowling Green, was taken by Pike County Ambulance to Hannibal Regional Hospital with moderate injures. A second passenger, a 15-year-old boy from Frankford, was taken by private vehicle to SSM Health St. Joseph Hospital in St. Charles with minor injuries.

All three were wearing seat belts, the patrol said.
