Supportive living facility worker one of newly confirmed COVID-19 cases

CARTHAGE, Ill. — A worker at the Hickory Grove Supportive Living in Carthage has tested positive for COVID-19.

The Hancock County Health Department and Memorial Hospital announced Saturday that a woman in her 30s to 40s tested positive for COVID-19 and is recovering at home. Contact tracing is being conducted.

As a precaution, all staff and residents at hickory Grove will be tested for COVID-19, and visitors will not be allowed at this time.

Hancock County has had 21 confirmed cases of COVID-19.

In Adams County, four additional cases were announced Saturday, bringing the county's total cases to 152.

The Adams County Health Department said eight people are hospitalized in the county, and the seven-day positivity rate is 1.79%.
