QUINCY -- Amid an uptick in the number of COVID-19 cases in the county and on the advice of the Adams County Health Department, city officials said on Thursday that all city meetings will again include an option for officials to participate virtually.

The policy applies to both the Quincy City Council weekly meetings and committee meetings.

All meetings will be closed to the public, but those who wish to view the meeting will be able to do so online.

City facilities will remain open, but officials warn they may close if the disease burden continues to increase.
