MONTICELLO, Mo. -- The second COVID-19-related death has been reported in Lewis County.
The Lewis County Health Department said Sunday that a Lewis County resident in their 70s died after testing positive for the virus.
An additional two community-spread cases -- a resident 30 to 40 years old and a resident 50 to 60 years old -- also were confirmed Sunday. Both are being asked to self-isolate at their home to reduce the risk of exposing others.
Lewis County has reported a total of 47 COVID-19 cases, with 20 currently active.
In Adams County, 15 new cases of COVID-19 were reported bringing the county's total to 513.
The Adams County Health Department said there are 123 active cases in the county, with 15 people in their 40s to 90s hospitalized. Two are in the intensive care unit.
The county is reporting seven-day positivity rate of 5.08%.
The Pike County, Ill., Health Department reported two additional cases — two men in their 70s.
Pike County has reported 23 total COVID-19 cases. Eleven are active with one person hospitalized.
