Two injured in crash near Madison

MADISON, Mo. -- Two people were injured after a two-vehicle crash Friday afternoon 2 miles west of Madison.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol said a 2016 Ford F-150 driven by Cassandra L. Million, 36, of Madison, was heading east at 4:05 p.m. on U.S. 24 when it struck a 2016 Chevrolet Tahoe driven by Gay B. Thomas, 59, of Madison, who slowed to make a left turn.

Thomas suffered moderate injuries, and Million suffered minor injuries. Both were taken by Monroe County Ambulance to Boone Hospital in Columbia.

The patrol said the two were wearing seat belts.

Also assisting at the scene were the Monroe County Sheriff's Department and the Madison Fire Department.
