HANNIBAL, Mo. -- A Centralia man faces multiple drug charges after he reportedly manufactured methamphetamine.
William Rolla Ruby, 28, was arrested Monday and later charged with delivery of a controlled substance, manufacture of a controlled substance and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia.
The Hannibal Police Department said that about 12:30 p.m. officers received information that a man with a warrant was sitting in a vehicle in the 800 block of Webb. As officers approached the man identified as Ruby, he reportedly left the vehicle and ran behind a house, throwing items into a wooded area.
After Ruby was taken into custody, officers reportedly discovered an active "one-pot," which is a method used to cook methamphetamine. Officers say they dissembled the device to render it safe.
Ruby was taken to the Marion County Jail where he was held on a 24-hour hold pending charges, filed Tuesday.
Bond was set at $100,000 cash only.
