Probable cause found against man in connection with August shooting

Kendrick Page

QUINCY — Probable cause was found Wednesday in a case against a Roselle man who was allegedly shot at last summer by a woman he had an altercation with in downtown Quincy.

Adams County Circuit Judge Robert Adrian found there was enough evidence to move forward on charges against Kendrick R. Page, 35, who faces one count of aggravated battery and a misdemeanor count of domestic battery. Page will be arraigned on the charges Jan. 24.

Charging documents accuse Page of striking Ashley N. Wilson, 29, of Burlington, Iowa, in the face and body, and pulling her hair in August.

Page was allegedly driving a white 2017 GMC Yukon that Wilson is accused of shooting at at Fourth and Hampshire on Aug. 16.

Quincy police officers were called just before 8 a.m. to the intersection on a report that shots were fired. Witnesses told police that shots were fired at the vehicle, and police reportedly found a loaded handgun at the scene.

Wilson was charged with aggravated discharge of a firearm and reckless discharge of a firearm. She will be arraigned Jan. 16.

Page is free after posting $2,000 bond. Wilson also posted $2,000 in her case.
