QUINCY — Vervocity Interactive and Media Development are both under new ownership.
Vervocity announced Monday that owners Eric and Kathryn Thomas sold the businesses to Cody and Kayla Hageman, who have a combined 21 years of experience with the two businesses.
With the purchase, Vervocity Interactive and Media Development will be merged into one company under the name of Vervocity. All employees will be retained, and the business will remain at 3701 East Lake Centre Drive in Quincy.
"We are excited and honored that Eric and Kathryn chose us to continue building on the business they established," Cody Hageman said. "Our main focus at this time is to ensure that all clients experience a seamless transition. We have some exciting new ideas on how we can continue to grow what Eric and Kathryn established."
The two businesses provide website design and development, custom programming, mobile app development, digital marketing, video production, photography, media placement, brand strategy, graphic design and other marketing services.
"It has been an honor to serve our clients in the Quincy and surrounding area for the past 23 years," Eric Thomas said. "This community has been our family, and we are so happy to have been involved in the technology sector and growth of this community for so many years. Under the leadership of Cody and Kayla, clients and staff will have many years of great opportunities ahead and will flourish under their direction."
