Four Barry residents arrested on drug charges

BARRY, Ill. -- Four rural Barry residents were arrested Wednesday night for drug offenses after a tip was made to Crime Stoppers reporting people known to be wanted on multiple outstanding Pike County warrants were using drugs.

Officers with the Illinois State Police and the Pike County Sheriff's Department went to a rural Barry residence on Ill. 106 at 7:45 p.m. and arrested Daniel M. Thomas, 27, Joshua W. Logsdon, 28, and Frances D. Keeling, 55, on suspicion of possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of cannabis.

Each also was arrested on several outstanding warrants: Thomas on an outstanding warrant for failure to appear on charges of unlawful participation of methamphetamine manufacturing, possession of methamphetamine manufacturing materials, possession of methamphetamine precursor and possession of methamphetamine; Logsdon on an outstanding warrant for criminal damage to property, domestic battery, participation of methamphetamine manufacturing, possession of methamphetamine precursors, possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia; and Keeling on an outstanding warrant for possession of methamphetamine precursors, possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Ruth M. Angeles, 53, was arrested on an outstanding Pike County warrant for possession of methamphetamine precursors and possession of methamphetamine.
