Over the course of the first weekend in April, The Dome at America's Center was transformed into a haven for spiders, bats, cats and all manner of strange beings…even a Bob Ross or two!

Wizard World St. Louis returned in the shadow of the Arch to bring together cosplayers, vendors, gamers, and celebrities in a weekend-long celebration of all things geek- and pop-culture. Panels such as Disney trivia, Q&As with Chris Kattan of “Saturday Night Live” fame and the cast of the original “Charmed,” and the opportunity to get autographs and photos with the likes of Lou Ferrigno and Jason Momoa were all highlights of the weekend. Roaming the floor of the Dome, you could glance around and see characters leaping straight off the pages and screens, from Spider-Man and Deadpool to Beetlejuice and more Harley Quinns than you can shake a stick at.

Along with the likes of Sean Astin (“Stranger Things,” “Goonies,” “Lord of the Rings”) and Alaina Huffman (“Painkiller Jane,” “Stargate Universe,” “Supernatural”), there were cosplay stars like the husband and wife team known as Thousand Faces Cosplay, 'Oh My' Sophii of Wichita, KS, and Sally Quinn Cosplay, all of whom, among many others, presented panels on creating amazing costumes and characters.

For the younger attendees, there were animals, including lemur, owls, raptors, and reptiles, on display and for handling (supervised, of course). The main stage was populated with art displays and family-friendly musical acts as guests were greeted by the inimitable Kato Kaelin, as cheerful and friendly as ever, with more energy than is fair for any one man to have.
