QUINCY — A $10,000 reward has been offered for the 2019 shooting death of a Quincy man.
Local nonprofit Friends of Justice has raised the reward for information leading to an arrest of the person or people responsible for the Jan. 6, 2019, death of Dennis Green.
The Quincy Police Department was called about 3 a.m. Jan. 6 on a report of a death in the 800 block of South 13th. Upon arrival, officers found Green's body on the front porch.
He was pronounced dead at the scene, an autopsy showed the cause of death was two gunshot wounds to the head.
QPD said the investigation in Green's death is ongoing.
Anyone with information in the death of Dennis Green is asked to contact QPD at 217-228-4492.
