A 15-day-old baby from Fulton County, Ill., died of natural causes Saturday afternoon while the family was shopping at Quincy Farm and Home Supply in Quincy.

The boy, Brayden Eugene Baker, son of Tyler Baker and Chelsea Ackley of Vermont, Ill., was in an infant carrier in a shopping cart when the couple noticed he was not breathing. The infant was taken to Blessing Hospital where he was pronounced dead at 4:26 p.m.

"The baby died of an undiagnosed congenital heart ailment," said Adams County Corner Jim Kelller. "The death was of natural causes."

Services are Friday in the Shawgo Funeral Home in Astoria.
