The opening reception for "The World of Cameron Fuller" and "Jenny Chi: The Natural State" will be 7-9 p.m. Friday at the Quincy Art Center.

These exhibits remain open through June 29.

Fuller received his bachelor's degree from San Francisco State University and his master's degree from Washington University in St. Louis. He uses black tape to create fantastical cityscapes on walls which take the viewer into the world of his imagination.

Chi received her bachelor's degree from Lewis University in Romeoville and her master's degree from the School of Figurative Art of the New York Academy of Art. She is an associate professor at Eastern Illinois University, where she teaches painting and life drawing. Chi's style is reminiscent of the Italian Renaissance, and her drawings challenge the viewer to see the human form in a new way.

Gallery hours are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday and 1-4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday while exhibits are on view. Call 217-223-5900 or e-mail at lrabe@quincyartcenter.org for more information.
