2024 Budget Revenue
Quincy City Comptroller Sheri Ray presented the first look at the fiscal year 2024 revenue projections ahead of Monday's City Council meeting. Current projections put the incoming revenue for the city at $49.7 million.

Two recycling sites now open
Work to remove the curbs at Quincy's new recycling drop-off center was underway Wednesday at the 12th and Locust location, even as the site opened for public use. The work is to allow trucks easier access to replace the bins, but won't interfere with residents' use of the site.

New contract announced between Continental Cement Co., United Steelworkers Local 11-205
A new, five-year contract was announced Thursday between Continental Cement Co. and United Steelworkers Local 11-205. The Collective Bargaining Agreement represents the conclusion of months of negotiation and an eight-day strike that began last Wednesday.
